These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Deciml recruitment platform at deciml.io ("Platform"), operated by Deciml ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
Deciml is a recruitment platform connecting Web3 professionals ("Candidates") with companies hiring in the blockchain and decentralised technology space ("Clients"). We act as a recruitment intermediary, not as an employer or employment agency in the traditional sense. Our role is to facilitate introductions and manage the recruitment process on behalf of our Clients.
To use the Platform, you must:
By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet all of the above requirements.
You must create an account to access the Platform's core features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at hello@deciml.io if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
You may not create accounts for others, share your account with others, or create multiple accounts for the same individual.
As a Candidate, you agree to:
We provide a platform and recruitment services to facilitate the hiring process. However, we do not guarantee that you will be matched to or offered any particular role. All hiring decisions are made by our Clients, not by Deciml.
We reserve the right to decline to represent any Candidate or to withdraw a Candidate from a process at our sole discretion.
By using the Platform and submitting applications, you consent to Deciml sharing relevant profile information (including your name, experience, skills and CV) with Client companies for the specific role you applied to or where we have identified you as a potential match. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details of how we share and process your data.
All content on the Platform — including text, graphics, logos, software and data — is owned by or licensed to Deciml. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify or create derivative works from any Platform content without our prior written consent.
You retain ownership of the content you submit to the Platform (your CV, profile information, cover notes). By submitting content, you grant Deciml a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, store and display that content as necessary to operate the recruitment service.
You must not use the Platform to:
For full details, see our Acceptable Use Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent or harmful conduct, or if we are required to do so by law. We will endeavour to notify you where it is appropriate to do so.
You may delete your account at any time via your profile settings. Upon deletion, your data will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not guarantee the accuracy of job listings, which are provided by our Clients.
Nothing on the Platform constitutes legal, financial or employment advice.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Deciml shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform or these Terms.
Our total aggregate liability to you in connection with the Platform shall not exceed £100.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or integrate with third-party services (such as Telegram, GitHub). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices or availability of those third-party services. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their own terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Where changes are material, we will notify you by email or via a notice on the Platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Platform after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction provide otherwise.
